A practical near constant bandwidth amplifier

International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2010
AbstractThis paper presents a simple near constant bandwidth amplifier constructed from two operational amplifiers. The near constant bandwidth is obtained by reducing the normally high input impedance of the opamp via local and overall feedback. Experimental results obtained using identical opamps and different opamps verify the expected theoretical ...

Constant-bandwidth constant-temperature hot-wire anemometer

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2007
A constant-temperature anemometer (CTA) enables the measurement of fast-changing velocity fluctuations. In the classical solution of CTA, the transmission band is a function of flow velocity. This is a minor drawback when the mean flow velocity does not significantly change, though it might lead to dynamic errors when flow velocity varies over a ...

Constant-bandwidth scanning of the Czerny–Turner monochromator

Applied Optics, 2000
For the convenience of monochromator users, the constant-bandwidth operation of a Czerny-Turner monochromator is reviewed and clarified for continuously variable and for discretely variable slit widths. A procedure for selecting the discrete slit widths that are necessary for nearly constant-bandwidth scanning is presented.

Searching Paths of Constant Bandwidth

2006
As a generalization of paths, the notion of paths of bandwidth w is introduced. We show that, for constant w ≥ 1, the corresponding search problem for such a path of length k in a given graph is NP-complete and fixed-parameter tractable (FPT) in the parameter k, like this is known for the special case w = 1, the LONGEST PATH problem.

Constant bandwidth gain-linear programmable gain amplifier

2014 12th IEEE International Conference on Solid-State and Integrated Circuit Technology (ICSICT), 2014
This paper presents the design of a constant bandwidth gain-linear PGA with current density constant technique (CDCT). It consists of variable G m cell, variable current source, current shunt circuit and active load. The gain can be changed by using digital controls, and the PGA bandwidth are independent of the gain setting by using CDCT; The PGA is ...

Implementing constant-bandwidth servers upon multiprocessor platforms

Proceedings. Eighth IEEE Real-Time and Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium, 2003
In constant-bandwidth server (CBS) systems, several different applications are executed upon a shared computing platform in such a manner that each application seems to be executing on a slower dedicated processor. CBS systems have thus far only been implemented upon uniprocessors; here, a multiprocessor extension, which can be implemented upon ...

Construction and experimental testing of the constant-bandwidth constant-temperature anemometer

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2008
A classical constant-temperature hot-wire anemometer enables the measurement of fast-changing flow velocity fluctuations, although its transmission bandwidth is a function of measured velocity. This may be a source of significant dynamic errors. Incorporation of an adaptive controller into the constant-temperature system results in hot-wire anemometer ...

Smart Resistor: Stabilization of DC Microgrids Containing Constant Power Loads Using High-Bandwidth Power Converters and Energy Storage

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2020
Power electronic converters and electric motor drives have found increased application in dc microgrids, electric automobiles, and ships. Such converters when driving loads in a regulated fashion act as constant power loads (CPLs).

Tunable bandpass filters with constant absolute bandwidth

Proceedings of the 9th International Symposium on Antennas, Propagation and EM Theory, 2010
This paper presents the design of novel tunable bandpass filters with constant absolute bandwidth. A novel mixed electric and magnetic coupling scheme is utilized. Theoretical analysis indicates that it is able to achieve desired coupling coefficients between the proposed resonators at various frequencies so as to obtain constant absolute bandwidth ...

Reconfigurable BPF With Constant Center Frequency and Wide Tuning Range of Bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II - Express Briefs, 2020
A reconfigurable bandpass filter (BPF) with constant centre frequency and wide tuning range of bandwidth is presented. The proposed filter is based on the novel configuration of two modified asymmetrical $\pi $ -sections with folded shorted stubs loaded
