Tunable combline bandstop filter with constant bandwidth

2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2009
A new method for the design of tunable bandstop filters is presented. It is based on a dual-band combline structure consisting of a wideband bandpass filter with integrated bandstop filter. The bandstop filter exhibits the very useful property that its bandwidth remains constant as the center frequency is tuned, without the need for coupling adjustment.

Enhanced Performance of Constant Frequency Torque Controller–Based Direct Torque Control of Induction Machines with Increased Torque-Loop Bandwidth

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2020
Constant frequency torque controller-based direct torque control (CFTC-DTC) is emerging as a powerful control strategy for a high-performance control of alternating-current motor drives. Compared to DTC, the CFTC-DTC has less torque and flux ripples with

Compact Mechanically Tunable Microstrip Bandstop Filter With Constant Absolute Bandwidth Using an Embedded Metamaterial-Based EBG

IEEE transactions on microwave theory and techniques, 2020
A mechanically tunable, constant-absolute-bandwidth (ABW) bandstop filter is realized using the metamaterial-based electromagnetic bandgap structure (MTM-EBG). The MTM-EBG is embedded within a microstrip (MS) line and used to produce a bandstop filtering

Deployable Inverted-Hat Monopole With 3:1 Constant Gain Bandwidth

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2020
A novel deployable inverted-hat monopole (IHM) antenna is presented for satellite applications. This frequency scalable antenna was designed and verified in very high-frequency (VHF) band (40–160 MHz) for 9U CubeSats and ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) band ...

Tunable Diplexer With Identical Passband and Constant Absolute Bandwidth

IEEE transactions on microwave theory and techniques, 2020
Frequency-adaptive bandpass diplexer (FA-BPD) with constant absolute bandwidths (ABWs) and two identical passbands at every state is the most useful duplexing tunable filter for the smart frequency-division duplex (FDD) system.

A grounded constant current source with improved bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1978
A grounded constant current source employing a single operational amplifier is discussed. It is shown that improved bandwidth and reduced slew rate limitations are obtained with this circuit.

Bandwidth extension of a CMOS constant Q active

2010 International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology (ICCCT), 2010
In this paper, CMOS active inductor with extended bandwidth using a compensation resistor is presented. This active inductor is used as an active component in the designing of bandpass filter. Moreover, the quality factor of the CMOS active inductor is almost independent of signal swing.

Bandwidth-Based Prefetching for Constant-Stride Arrays

2004
We describe a new algorithm for prefetching arrays that are accessed with a compile-time known constant stride. We demonstrate a hardware limitation that has not previously been dealt with (limited off-chip bandwidth) and show its effect on prefetching. Our new algorithm is designed to cope with this hardware limitation.

Gain-tuned active filters with constant percent bandwidth

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1975
It is shown that the amplifier gains in a two-amplifier RC active filter section can be used to tune the center frequency of its bandpass characteristic in such a manner that the percent bandwidth remains essentially constant over the tuning range. Low-pass and high-pass tunable sections with constant pole- Q are also derived.

Coupling-Matrix-Based Systematic Design of Single-DC-Bias-Controlled Microstrip Higher Order Tunable Bandpass Filters With Constant Absolute Bandwidth and Transmission Zeros

IEEE transactions on microwave theory and techniques, 2019
This paper presents a systematic design procedure of microstrip higher order tunable bandpass filters (BPFs) that can realize a constant absolute frequency bandwidth (ABW) and transmission zeros (TZs) with the minimum number of varactors and a single ...
