Tunable Constant-Bandwidth Substrate-Integrated Bandstop Filters

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2018
A new method for designing tunable bandstop filters with constant fractional and absolute bandwidths (ABWs) is presented. The constant bandwidth is achieved through a new coupling structure, which is passive and consists only of coupling elements and transmission lines.

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Variable-bandwidth recursive-filter design employing cascaded stability-guaranteed 2nd-order sections using coefficient transformations

open access: yesJournal of Information and Telecommunication
This paper shows a 2-step procedure for obtaining a variable-bandwidth recursive digital filter whose structure contains cascaded second-order (2nd-order) sections.

Fuzzy based load and energy aware multipath routing for mobile ad hoc networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Routing is a challenging task in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) due to their dynamic topology and lack of central administration. As a consequence of un-predictable topology changes of such networks, routing protocols employed need to accurately capture ...

Atomic‐Scale Light Coupling Control in Ultrathin Photonic Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ultrathin photonic nanomembranes provide atomic‐scale control over the coupling between incident light and high‐Q photonic modes, enabling angstrom‐level resonance tuning and strong field confinement. When integrated with TMD monolayers, they further yield enhanced light–matter interactions, offering a versatile platform for advancing quantum photonics,

Bandwidth Prediction based on Nu-Support Vector Regression and Parallel Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2010
This paper addresses the problem of generating multi-step-ahead bandwidth prediction. Variation of bandwidth is modeled as a Nu-Support Vector Regression (Nu-SVR) procedure. A parallel procedure is proposed to hybridize constant and binary Particle Swarm

Constant-bandwidth current mode operational amplifier

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1991
A current mode operational amplifier with a low impedance output for feedback connection is proposed and analysed theoretically. It is found to have a constant bandwidth independent of the gain in a closed loop configuration. This property is due to the loop gain independent of the closed loop gain.

Near‐constant beamwidth quadruple bandwidth double‐ridged horn antenna design

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, 2019
It is well known that the beamwidths of horn antennas are inversely proportional to frequency. Previous studies point to minimum ±12% beamwidth stability within a maximum of 2.5:1 bandwidth (BW) ratio. To extend this BW, a design methodology for broadband double‐ridged horn antenna (DRHA) is proposed and applied to 4.5–18 GHz ...

Suppression of Photo‐Mediated Traps in Integrated Organic Photovoltaic–Photodetector Devices via N‐Type Self‐Assembly‐Driven Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conventional unstable electron transport layers (ETLs) limit self‐powered organic sensors. This work resolves this by developing a n‐type self‐assembled monolayer (SAM), “3‐PAPh”. This SAM forms a chemically stable and structurally ordered interface that fundamentally suppresses defect formation.

Low-Voltage 0.81mW, 1–32 CMOS VGA With 5% Bandwidth Variations and −38dB DC Rejection

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
A CMOS low-voltage amplifier with approximately constant bandwidth and DC rejection is introduced. The design is based on the cascade of a wide linear input range OTA, an op-amp and a servo-loop with extremely large time constants.
