Poly(Vinylidene Fluoride)‐Wrapped LiFePO4 Microspheres as Highly Stable Dual Functional Cathode for Solid‐State Lithium Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
A dual functional cathode is made by uniformly dispersing the cathode material (LiFePO4) into the polymer electrolyte poly(vinylidenfluorid‐co‐hexafluorpropylene):lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, resulting in a conformable lamella structure with embedded microspheres.

A Multimode Soft Robot Based on a Single Braided Tube

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel soft multimode robot based on a single braided tube directly formed and actuated by SMA wires with distinct initial configurations. By combining contraction, elongation, and bending deformations, the robot achieves straight crawling, turning, inchworm crawling, and rolling without additional actuators.

Heavy is the Crown: Crown Ether Modulation of Cobalt Porphyrin CO2 Electroreduction in Zero‐Gap Electrolyzers

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
The implementation of crown ethers into the ligand of cobalt porphyrins benefits the electrochemical CO2 reduction in the several ways: (1) the reduction potential is lowered in presence of K+; (2) it boosts the CO generation in Zero‐Gap Electrolyzers and (3) ensures complex stability during electrolysis.
