The average value of log s(n)/n taken over the first N even integers is shown to converge to a constant lambda when N tends to infinity; moreover, the value of this constant is approximated and proven to be less than 0. Here s(n) sums the divisors of n less than n.

Are fundamental constants really constant? [PDF]
Reasons for suspecting that fundamental constants might change with time are reviewed. Possible consequences of such variations are examined. The present status of experimental tests of these ideas is discussed.

Ionization constants pKa of cardiolipin. [PDF]
Cardiolipin is a phospholipid found in the inner mitochondrial membrane and in bacteria, and it is associated with many physiological functions. Cardiolipin has a dimeric structure consisting of two phosphatidyl residues connected by a glycerol bridge ...

The expressiveness of spider diagrams augmented with constants [PDF]
Spider diagrams are a visual language for expressing logical statements or constraints. Several sound and complete spider diagram systems have been developed and it has been shown that they are equivalent in expressive power to monadic first order logic ...

Universal Constants and Natural Systems of Units in a Spacetime of Arbitrary Dimension
We study the properties of fundamental physical constants using the threefold classification of dimensional constants proposed by J.-M. Lévy-Leblond: constants of objects (masses, etc.), constants of phenomena (coupling constants), and “universal ...

Factor equivalence of Galois modules and regulator constants [PDF]
We compare two approaches to the study of Galois module structures: on the one hand, factor equivalence, a technique that has been used by Fröhlich and others to investigate the Galois module structure of rings of integers of number fields and of their ...

Varying constants driven baryogenesis
We study the spontaneous baryogenesis scenario in the early universe for three different frameworks of varying constants theories. We replace the constants by dynamical scalar fields playing the role of thermions.

Studies of a Tripodal Biomimetic Siderophore Analog: An Efficient Encapsulation for Fe(III) Ion [PDF]
A new tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine (TREN) capped tripodal Schiff base ligand has been developed by mimicking structural features of a natural siderophore, Bacillibactin, by substituting the catechol units with salicylaldehyde and employing amino acid as a ...
