Microstructure Characterization of Bending Effects in 304L Stainless Steel Cladded with Low‐Alloy Steel Weld

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Prebending of 304L/Q345R cladded plates significantly alters the subsequent weld thermal cycle and modifies the local interfacial microstructure. Combined electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and microscopy analysis demonstrates that deformation twinning, martensitic transformation, and defect initiation are concentrated at the trimaterial junction,

Influence of Oxygen Contamination on the Genesis of Nonmetallic Inclusions in a Microalloyed Steel

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Oxygen contamination during melting of steels strongly affects the evolution of nonmetallic inclusions. Controlled remelting experiments, combined with SEM/EDS analysis and thermodynamic simulations, reveal how reoxidation promotes the transformation of alumina‐based inclusions into complex FeO–MnO oxides and other interactions.

Inside the Black Box: Advancing Climate Disclosure in Australia's Energy Sector to Support a Resilient National Electricity Market

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Alongside the 2024–2025 review of the National Electricity Market, Australian energy companies faced the most significant reforms to climate disclosures in corporate history. Specifically, the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standard for Climate‐related Disclosures (AASB S2) was announced in September 2024, after which all entities falling

Crisis micro‐learning: A framework for understanding the micro‐flow of policy learning and Australia's COVID‐19 response

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Public Administration, EarlyView.
Abstract COVID‐19 has intensified interest in crisis policy learning, yet the micro‐level interactions among political, bureaucratic, and expert actors remain underexplored. We conceptualise an ideal‐type framework for the micro‐flow of crisis learning, an ordinarily epistemic and context‐specific process of individual‐level interactions, where lessons

Violation of the Supremacy of the Constitution by Circumventing the Constitutional Procedures For Its Revision

open access: yesStudii Juridice Universitare
The Constitution is the supreme law which regulates the fundamental social relations which are essential to the establishment, maintenance and exercise of power and which enshrines the fundamental human rights and freedoms. Supremacy is a feature of the Constitution that places it at the top of the political-legal institutions in a society organized in

The future of regional airports in Australia: Policy challenges

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Public Administration, EarlyView.
Abstract Council‐owned regional airports in Australia face governance challenges that have caused significant financial unsustainability across the sector. Federal policy frameworks fail to address these challenges and risk exacerbating existing pressures by outlining ambitious visions for the adoption of new technologies and achieving net zero.

POLITICAL PARTIES AND THEIR ROLE IN SAFEGUARDING THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION [PDF]

open access: yesStrategii Manageriale, 2014
Nowadays, the political scene of the world is stirred by political parties. The separate fronts of the Government, on the one side, and Parliament, on the other, are now obsolete notions, while political parties dominate social life, having become genuine states in state.
