Stability of quantum and Sharvin constrictions [PDF]

Previously, the authors reported direct evidence of channel saturation and conductance quantization in atomic-sized gold constrictions through mechanical perturbation studies, and also showed that peaks in conductance histograms are insufficient in evaluating their mechanical stability [Armstrong et al., Phys. Rev. B 82, 195416 (2010)].

Vanadium Doped Magnetic MoS2 Monolayers of Improved Electrical Conductivity as Spin‐Orbit Torque Layer

Electrically conductive and room temperature magnetic atomically thin (≈0.8 nm) vanadium doped MoS2 (V‐MoS2) is demonstrated for its spintronic applications. Here, the spin transport at the interface of permalloy (Py) and high spin‐orbit coupling V‐MoS2 magnetic monolayers is shown.

Electrolyte Engineering Strategy with Catecholate Type Additive Enabled Ultradurable Zn Anode

A catecholate‐type molecule is proposed as a multifunctional electrolyte additive, providing a strong buffering ability as well as homogeneous (101)‐textured electroplating morphology. The modified Zn anode exhibits a remarkable rate capability, extraordinary reversibility, and superior cyclic stability.
