Constructs and Construct Validation: Definitions and Issues
Human Performance, 1992This article presents a definition of constructs, construct validity, and wn- struct validation and traces some of the historical treatments of the terms. It is argued that construct validity and validation procedures can be particularly useful in personnel-testing contexts, where jobrelatedness is required.

Constructive validity is nonarithmetic
The Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1988It follows constructively from weak versions of Markov's principle (MP) and of Church's thesis (WCT) that logical validity for single sentences is not arithmetically definable. This is a direct consequence of the constructive model-theoretic fact that, using MP and WCT, one can prove the categoricity of first-order Heyting arithmetic.

Anhedonia: A Construct Validation Approach
Journal of Personality Assessment, 1983Investigated the convergent and discriminant validity of the anhedonia construct using a multivariable-multimethod design. The 100 subjects displayed a wide range of scores on the Physical Anhedonia Scale, many comparable to the original validation sample of diagnosed schizophrenics.
