ABSTRACT Objective Variants in SLC6A1, encoding the GABA transporter 1 (GAT‐1), cause epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay via loss of GABA uptake, impaired trafficking, and ER retention. We previously found that 4‐Phenylbutyrate (PBA), an FDA‐approved drug, restores GABA uptake and reduces seizures in SLC6A1‐related disorders ...

A New Lattice Construction: The Box Product
In a recent paper, the authors have proved that for lattices A and B with zero, the isomorphism $Conc(A \otimes B)\cong Conc A \otimes Conc B$, holds, provided that the tensor product satisfies a very natural condition (of being capped) implying that $A\otimes B$ is a lattice.

ABSTRACT Background Ischemic stroke, a major cause of mortality and long‐term disability, results from the abrupt cessation of cerebral blood flow due to vascular occlusion or rupture. Icosapent Ethyl (EPA‐EE), approved for hypertriglyceridemia, has anti‐inflammatory and antithrombotic properties that may lessen ischemic damage.

Drivers of Productivity: a Case Study of the Australian Construction Industry
Australian construction productivity has grown slowly since 1985 and remains arguably stagnant. The importance of this study is therefore to examine several factors through to be drivers of construction productivity and to understand possible avenues for

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Additive Manufacturing as an Enabler of Lean Construction: A Systematic Literature Review
Additive manufacturing (AM) has been increasingly explored in the construction sector for its potential to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enable design flexibility; however, reported outcomes remain inconsistent, and the relationship between AM ...
