Computer Law & Security Report, 1999Abstract This article aims at proposing better solutions for the protection of consumers on the Internet while increasing consumer confidence in E-commerce. Today, consumer protection remains regulated by traditional rules not specifically devoted to the online world which do not address specific issues raised by the electronic environment.
