Bridging Horizontal to Vertical Radiative Cooling
Radiative cooling materials are mature but only work facing the sky, confining them to rooftops. Instead of developing new ones, this system bridges existing horizontal coolers to vertical windows using blades outside the glass. On an occupied urban building, windows stay up to 1.4°C below air temperature while preserving daylight, outward views, and ...

A thermochemically engineered core–shell Si architecture is developed through the controlled evolution of a SWCNT‐coated Mg2Si precursor. The process simultaneously generates a nanoporous Si shell for strain accommodation and Li+ transport, a chemically anchored SiC interfacial layer for robust mechanical and electrical coupling, and a Mg‐containing Si

Responsive Open Microfluidic Logic for Mechanical Computing
Coupling elasticity with capillarity transforms mechanical compression into binary fluidic states, enabling deterministic logic in open microfluidic circuits. This work demonstrates that computation can emerge from interactions between mechanic and fluidic domains, establishing a general strategy for embedding information processing directly within ...

Mechanically Reprogrammed Coaxial Fibers for Multiphysics Transduction and Human‐Machine Interfaces
A continuously wet‐spun coaxial fiber is developed to combine stretchable conductivity, resistive sensing, and self‐powered triboelectric sensing in a single architecture. A mechanically reprogrammed dual‐network sheath stabilizes large deformation and improves signal reliability. These fibers can be woven into textile interfaces for multichannel touch
