Unperceivable Designs of Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Unperceivable wearable technologies seamlessly integrate into everyone's daily life, for healthcare and Internet‐of‐Things applications. By remaining completely unnoticed both visually and tactilely, by the user and others, they ensure medical privacy and allow natural social interactions.

3D Printing of Auxetic Self‐powered Mechanoluminescent Photonic Skins for Underwater Communication and Safety Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed self‐powered auxetic mechanoluminescent photonic skin for underwater communication and safety monitoring is introduced. Its auxetic structures, with a negative Poisson's ratio, ensure exceptional conformability to curved surfaces, enhancing adaptability to dynamic underwater environments.

Atomically‐Thin Freestanding Racetrack Memory Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ultrathin and flexible freestanding racetrack membranes are fabricated using a water‐soluble Sr3Al2O6 release layer, without a buffer between the release layer and the magnetic heterostructure. The absence of any buffer layer enables local modulation of the current‐ and field‐induced manipulation of the racetrack magnetization via direct coupling with ...

Bioinspired, Rapidly Responsive Magnetically Tunable Stiffness Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D array of magnetoactive mechanical metamaterials enables rapid and reversible stiffness modulation under external magnetic fields. By adjusting field direction and intensity, the system exhibits diverse deformation modes and tunable modulus. This fast‐responding mechanical metamaterial offers real‐time adaptability for advanced reconfigurable and ...

Spatially Resolved Observation of Ferroelectric‐to‐Paraelectric Phase Transition in a Two‐Dimensional Halide Perovskite

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Temperature‐dependent nanoscale ferroelectric domain evolution and the ferroelectric‐to‐paraelectric phase transition in 2D halide perovskites is visualized using piezoresponse force microscopy. The phase transition initiates locally below the Curie temperature and progressively propagates as paraelectric regions expand.
