Key Technology and Experimental Study on Module Sealing
The following problems often occur during the operation of offshore sand control:when the working string runs from the wellhead, the setting tool with the seal element cannot reach the predetermined position through the seal tube and seal is often failed.

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Contact Pressure Distribution Optimization
A novel design technique that is used to optimize contact pressure distribution was introduced and investigated. The primary objective of this design tool, called the Predicted Displacement Method, was to provide a calculated contact surface shape ...

Analysis on the Influence of Swelling on Interference of Stator and Rotor of Progressing Cavity Pump
In downhole environment, the conventional oil progressing cavity pump may experience uneven deformation of stator rubber owing to swelling, which is an indispensable factor in stator and rotor design.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.
