Legendrian lens space surgeries [PDF]
We show that every tight contact structure on any of the lens spaces $L(ns^2-s+1,s^2)$ with $n\geq 2$, $s\geq 1$, can be obtained by a single Legendrian surgery along a suitable Legendrian realisation of the negative torus knot $T(s,-(sn-1))$ in the ...

On subcritically Stein fillable 5-manifolds
We make some elementary observations concerning subcritically Stein fillable contact structures on 5-manifolds. Specifically, we determine the diffeomorphism type of such contact manifolds in the case the fundamental group is finite cyclic, and we show ...

HARMONIC CONTACT METRIC STRUCTURES AND SUBMERSIONS [PDF]
We study harmonic almost contact structures in the context of contact metric manifolds, and an analysis is carried out when such a manifold fibres over an almost Hermitian manifold, as exemplified by the Boothby–Wang fibration. Two types of almost contact metric warped products are also studied, relating their harmonicity to that of the almost ...

Structure Design of Positioning Device Based on Mechatronics
In order to study the positioning device structure based on mechanical design technology, PLC technology and sensor technology, the structure of the positioning device is analyzed mainly from the structure design.

Calabi-Yau cones from contact reduction
We consider a generalization of Einstein-Sasaki manifolds, which we characterize in terms both of spinors and differential forms, that in the real analytic case corresponds to contact manifolds whose symplectic cone is Calabi-Yau.

ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

Dehn surgery, rational open books and knot Floer homology
By recent results of Baker--Etnyre--Van Horn-Morris, a rational open book decomposition defines a compatible contact structure. We show that the Heegaard Floer contact invariant of such a contact structure can be computed in terms of the knot Floer ...

Contact structures on AR-singularity links [PDF]
An isolated complex surface singularity induces a canonical contact structure on its link. In this paper, we initiate the study of the existence problem of Stein cobordisms between these contact structures depending on the properties of singularities.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Parabolic almost contact structures
Parabolic analogues of almost contact structures are investigated. Parabolic (φ, ξ, θ, λ)- structure, parabolic metric (φ, ξ, θ, λ)-structure and its properties are defined.Existence of such a structures in hyperstufaces of almost dual spaces is proved; some examples of these structures are given.
