Accessibility of Containers Stacked in Container Terminals
Containers are stowed in stacked condition in most of the container terminals. In this case, access to a designated container, especially to import container, is one of serious problems for terminal operation. Because handling to deliver import containers to consignees is usually carried out, in order of the arrival of their trucks to the terminal ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Risk Assessment of Work Accident in Container Terminals Using the Fault Tree Analysis Method
The use of containers in the world is increasing every year in line with international trade flows. In very complex container terminal operations, the risk of work accidents is inevitable and can happen at any time.

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.
