Computer Program of Iodine Removal in the LWR Containment Vessel Under LOCA Conditions, MIRA-PB軽水型発電炉では、想定事故に対する工学的安全防護施設の一部として原子炉格納容器系が設置されている。PWRおよびBWRを対象とした格納容器スプレイによるヨウ素除去の計算コードとして、Battelle's Columbus研究所のRitgmanは、MIRAP/MIRABコードを報告した。この計算コードは、よく考えられているが、格納容器内の気相および液相濃度の算出方法、基礎式の取り扱い方などにいくつかの問題がある。また、プログラム上の不備が多く、実用には供しにくい。そこで、これらの点を修正し、計算コード(MIRA-PB)を作成した。本報告書では、計算コードMIRA-PBのプログラムリストについてのみ記載し、解析手法、プログラムの使い方などの詳細な検討については、別途報告している。

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.
