Pervasive content-centric wireless networking

Proceeding of IEEE International Symposium on a World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks 2014, 2014
Current communication approaches assume network associations as a prerequisite to both content discovery and access. This network-centric paradigm incurs substantial communication and time overhead, as devices build knowledge of content availability only after blindly associating to a network.

Content-centric distribution in wireless networks

2016 Eighth International Conference on Ubiquitous and Future Networks (ICUFN), 2016
Transmission of massive content over wireless mobile networks may not guarantee high quality content delivery due to insufficient bandwidth. To overcome this limitation, there is a growing interest in the complementary network, e.g., challenged network, to provide direct communication among the mobile devices.

Content peering in content centric networks

39th Annual IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2014
The settlement-free peering relationships play a vital role in today's Internet, notably in helping ISPs cope with the dramatic increase in traffic load caused by the recent surge in the demand for videos and user generated content. Because of the added caching capability of CCN, peering in CCN can be expanded to encompass not only content that is ...

A fairness analysis of content centric networks

2011 International Conference on the Network of the Future, 2011
In recent years the new vision of data-centric networks has emerged as a natural way to satisfy user needs in the Future Internet. It is based on novel architectures oriented towards data sharing and delivering as opposite to classic host-to-host communications.

Mobile sessions in content-centric networks

2017 IFIP Networking Conference (IFIP Networking) and Workshops, 2017
Content-centric networking (CCN) is a network architecture for transferring named data from producers to consumers upon request. This shifts security from that of a connection or channel to the content itself. There remains, however, many critical uses for the traditional client-server communication model with secure sessions. For instance, in many CCN

RCCN: A Reconfigurable Content-Centric Networking

2015 10th International Conference on Communications and Networking in China (ChinaCom), 2015
In this paper, we present RCCN, a novel centralized Reconfigurable Content-Centric Networking for congested networks. RCCN inherits the properties from Content-Centric Networking, such as hierarchical naming, node structure and security. RCCN is designed to create a manageable and controllable networking to satisfy the transmission requirements of ...
