Challenges and enablers in fluidization technology
Abstract Gas–solid fluidized beds provide excellent heat and mass transfer for high‐throughput operations from coating to catalytic conversion and underpin emerging low‐carbon technologies. Yet industrial reliability, scale‐up, and control lag scientific understanding, particularly as finer, stickier, and more variable feedstocks increasingly challenge

Proximity‐Induced Transfer of a Mass Tag Enables Direct Profiling of Active Matrix Metalloproteases
A proximity‐induced, mass‐encoded activity‐based protein profiling (ABPP) approach transfers a MALDI‐detectable α‐cyano‐4‐hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA) tag directly to active proteases. This tag enables the direct, multiplexed, and quantitative detection of enzyme activity in complex proteomes without enrichment or purification.

AbstractThe escalating complexity and impact of cyber threats require organisations to rehearse responses to cyber-attacks by routinely conducting cyber security exercises. However, the effectiveness of these exercises is limited by the exercise planners’ ability to replicate real-world scenarios in a timely manner that is, most importantly, tailored ...
