Ion Crowding Effect in Unilaterally Downsized Perovskite Memristors
The downscaling of perovskite memristors incorporating monocrystalline nanoplates is accompanied by an ion crowding effect, which greatly enhances the local electric field in the vicinity of electrode. The highly controlled crowding of anions and vacancies results in anisotropic switching characteristics as well as unique morphology modification ...

PAIR: Reconstructing Single‐Cell Open‐Chromatin Landscapes for Transcription Factor Regulome Mapping
scATAC‐seq analysis is often constrained by limited sequencing depth, extreme sparsity, and pervasive technical missingness. PAIR is a probabilistic framework that restores scATAC‐seq accessibility profiles by directly modeling the native cell–peak bipartite structure of chromatin accessibility.

Written evidence given by Professor Alexander Pepper of the London School of Economics and Political Science to the UK Parliamentary Commission on banking standards [PDF]
My contention is that many of the current problems with 'Bankers’ Pay' have their origins in the dismantling of the formal and informal institutions which regulated the labour markets in the financial centres in London and New York prior to 1986 ...

ReRAM/CMOS Array Integration and Characterization via Design of Experiments
This paper proposes the Design of Experiments to characterize arrays of oxide‐based ReRAM devices by exploring the large characterization space efficiently using only a few numbers of experiments. Using in‐house integration of 20 000 ReRAM devices on a CMOS chip, the unconventional optimization approach determines optimized measurement parameters and ...

Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.

While perovskite solar cells have been widely studied, including their stability, perovskite indoor photovoltaics (IPVs) have only recently emerged. Nevertheless, more studies are appearing in the literature. The systematic stability study of IPVs is crucial, particularly given the inconsistencies in reported methodologies and results, which call for ...

Vector computer memory bank contention [PDF]
A number of vector supercomputers feature very large memories. Unfortunately the large capacity memory chips that are used in these computers are much slower than the fast central processing unit (CPU) circuitry.

Toward Reliable Contention-aware Data Dissemination in Multi-hop Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]
This paper introduces a new channel selection strategy for reliable contentionaware data dissemination in multi-hop cognitive radio network. The key challenge here is to select channels providing a good tradeoff between connectivity and contention.
