Context-adaptive binary arithmetic coding for frame-based animated mesh compression
2008 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo, 2008Context-based adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) has proven to be an efficient technique in the area of video coding. This paper presents an approach for integrating CABAC into the framework of frame-based animated mesh compression (FAMC). It presents the specific modifications and adaptations that have been worked out to adapt CABAC to the ...

Recently, video encryption has been widely investigated to enhance the protection for video data, yet the encryption efficiency may not be considered sufficiently so that some encryption schemes are unsuitable for the real-time applications. In this paper, we propose a novel chaotic selective encryption scheme (CSES) based on Context-Adaptive Binary ...

An improved context-based adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) is presented. The idea for the improvement is to use a more accurate mechanism for estimation of symbol probabilities in the standard CABAC algorithm. The authors’ proposal of such a mechanism is based on the context-tree weighting technique. In the framework of a high-efficiency video

Context adaptive binary arithmetic coding-based data hiding in partially encrypted H.264/AVC videos
Journal of Electronic Imaging, 2015A scheme of data hiding directly in a partially encrypted version of H.264/AVC videos is proposed which includes three parts, i.e., selective encryption, data embedding and data extraction. Selective encryption is performed on context adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) bin-strings via stream ciphers.
