Infection Risk From Humans and Animals in the Anatomy Laboratory: A Scoping Review

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Whole‐body dissection is a cornerstone of anatomy education. During and following the COVID‐19 pandemic, exposure to infectious agents and other risks of dissection were highlighted. To identify potential risks, one must have the data outlining these risks in specific situations.

Lipid Profile Differences in HIV‐Infected Populations With Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesChronic Diseases and Translational Medicine, EarlyView.
PRISMA study flow diagram. ABSTRACT Introduction Advances in HIV management have transformed HIV into a chronic condition, resulting in improved prognosis and increased survival among people living with HIV (PLWH). Traditional risk factors for metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)—including dyslipidemia—are prevalent in PLWH.

ZIF‐Derived Co@Fe‐P Electrocatalyst With Core‐Shell Structure for Efficient Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Fabrication of core‐shell Co@Fe‐P electrocatalyst for efficient oxygen evolution reaction. ABSTRACT Rational design of non‐noble electrocatalysts with high performance for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) still remains a challenge. In this study, a ZIF‐derived electrocatalyst (Co@Fe‐P) with a core‐shell structure is designed by using Co‐compounds as the

PharmVar GeneFocus: NAT2—Genetic Variation and Updated Nomenclature

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
The Pharmacogene Variation Consortium (PharmVar) provides nomenclature for the highly polymorphic human N‐acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) gene. NAT2 metabolizes several clinically used drugs including isoniazid, hydralazine, amifampridine, procainamide, and sulfonamides such as dapsone, and also some highly carcinogenic arylamines.
