Contingent information processing: Contingent and precued classification [PDF]
An experimental paradigm of contingent classification is introduced, in which stimuli in a classification task are cued by the addition of another dimension so that the classification is reduced to the discrimination of just two stimuli. The contingencies are arranged so that the cuing dimension provides no response information.

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

From Bug to Feature: Harnessing Cross‐Sensitivity for Multiparametric Luminescence Sensing
Cross‐sensitivity in luminescence sensing is reframed from a limitation into a resource for multiparametric detection. Using ruby microspheres as a model system, cross‐sensitivity is quantitatively assessed and exploited through linear discriminant analysis, enabling simultaneous, correction‐free pressure and temperature sensing with a single ...

Global Health, Geographical Contingency, and Contingent Geographies [PDF]
Health geography has emerged from under the "shadow of the medical" to become one of the most vibrant of all the subdisciplines. Yet, this success has also meant that health research has become increasingly siloed within this subdisciplinary domain.

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...

Antimicrobial peptide (AMP)‐loaded nanocarriers provide a multifunctional strategy to combat drug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. By enhancing intracellular delivery, bypassing efflux pumps, and disrupting bacterial membranes, this platform restores phagolysosome fusion and macrophage function.
