Scriptio Continua Text Processing for South Indian Languages: A Study of HMM, CRF, and Bi-LSTM

2025 International Conference on Power, Instrumentation, Control, and Computing (PICC)
This study addresses the challenge of processing scriptio continua, a form of writing without spaces or punctuation between words, using Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) networks.

Virtual Power and Pseudobalance Equations for Generalized Continua

2016
In this paper the balance equations of linear and angular momentum are deduced from some regularity properties of the system of contact actions and from the law of action and reaction. This approach provides a simple and unifying formulation of the theories of non polar and polar continua.

On the Metric and Non‐metric Spaces for the Mechanics of Generalized Continua

Annalen der Physik, 1981
AbstractThe paper is concerned with the description of structural defects of a mechanicof continuum in terms of geometry. It depends on the spacing of defects relatively to the spacing m the underlying discrete physical structure, if defects may be described separately by the continuup. picture; otherwise a microdistribution of defects is arising.

Generalizations of Ferber-Krivelevich and Gallai Theorems on parity of degrees in induced subgraphs

arXiv.org
A long-standing and well-known conjecture (see e.g. Caro, Discrete Math, 1994) states that every $n$-vertex graph $G$ without isolated vertices contains an induced subgraph where all vertices have an odd degree and whose order is linear in $n$.
