Continued fraction expansions of algebraic numbers
In this paper we establish properties of independence for the continued fraction expansions of two algebraic numbers. Roughly speaking, if the continued fraction expansions of two irrational algebraic numbers have the same long sub-word, then the two continued fraction expansions have the same tails.

A Termite‐Inspired Alternative to Cement
A termite‐inspired composite of clay, cellulose, and lignin forms a dense fibrous network with concrete‐like strength (32 MPa) and superior elasticity, processed at ambient temperature. Abstract Clay combined with organic materials is used by termites as a strong and durable construction material for their mounds with minimal environmental impact. Here,

A spleen‐targeting hybrid nanoplatform (RBCMV‐LNP‐RP) harnessing erythrophagocytosis mimics senescent red blood cell clearance to achieve spleen‐specific delivery of rapamycin. This biomimetic system enables selective accumulation in splenic macrophages, orchestrating systemic immune reprogramming and promoting mucosal healing in an inflammatory bowel ...

A multivalent antiviral platform based on honeycomb‐shaped DNA nanostructures (HC–Urumin) is developed to enhance the potency and breadth of the host defense peptide Urumin. Through spatially patterned trimeric presentation, HC–Urumin disrupts influenza A virus entry, improves cell viability, and reduces disease severity in vivo‐offering a modular and ...

A FeN4─O/Clu@NC‐0.1Ac catalyst containing atomically‐dispersed FeN4─O sites (medium‐spin Fe2+) and Fe clusters delivered a half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and an overpotential of 330 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for OER in 0.1 m KOH. When the catalyst was used in a rechargeable Zn–air battery, a power density of 284.5 mW cm−2 was achieved with excellent ...

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Ankeny–Artin–Chowla Conjecture and Continued Fraction Expansion
For any prime \(p\) congruent to 1 modulo 4, let \(\varepsilon_p= (t_p+ u_p \sqrt{p})/2\) be the fundamental unit of the real quadratic field \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{p})\). In this paper, the author investigates some relations between Ankeny, Artin and Chowla conjecture on \(\varepsilon_p\) and the continued fraction expansion of \((1+\sqrt{p})/2\), and ...

New alternatives to the Lennard-Jones potential
We present a new method for approximating two-body interatomic potentials from existing ab initio data based on representing the unknown function as an analytic continued fraction.
