On the Eventually Periodic Continued β-Fractions and Their Lévy Constants
In this paper, we consider continued β-fractions with golden ratio base β. We show that if the continued β-fraction expansion of a non-negative real number is eventually periodic, then it is the root of a quadratic irreducible polynomial with the ...

The paper deals with the problem of representation of Horn’s hypergeometric functions by branched continued fractions. The formal branched continued fraction expansions for three different Horn’s hypergeometric function H4 ratios are constructed.

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

In this paper, we consider some numerical aspects of branched continued fractions as special families of functions to represent and expand analytical functions of several complex variables, including generalizations of hypergeometric functions.

Continued Fraction Expansion of Algebraic Numbers
Every irrational x in (0,1) determines uniquely an infinite sequence of positive integers by means of its continued fraction expansion. Richtmyer in 1951 conjectured that algebraic irrationals may have a paucity of large partial denominators. The conjecture was studied in numerical tests.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
