Novel Non‐Equimolar High‐Entropy Zirconates With Superior Thermophysical Properties

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rare‐earth zirconates (RE2Zr2O7) are promising candidates for topcoat materials in thermal barrier coatings (TBCs). However, their practical application in TBCs is limited by poor fracture toughness and low thermal expansion coefficient (TEC).

Bifunctional Competitive Structure of Biomass Carbon‐Derived Metacomposites for Tunable ε′‐Near‐Zero and ε′‐Negative Responses

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Regulating negative parameters of metacomposites is mainly limited by their unclear mechanisms, which affects their practical applications in new sensing, communication, electromagnetic (EM) protection and other fields. This work proposes a dual‐functional competitive design strategy based on the waste corncob‐derived carbon/polyaniline ...

Coral‐Like Yolk–Shell‐Structured CoNi@Void@C Microspheres for Enhanced Microwave Absorption, Photothermal, Anti‐Corrosion, and Radiation Shielding Properties

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Considering the multiple challenges faced by stealth coatings in complex service environments, the development of multifunctional integrated microwave absorbing materials (MAMs) that combine efficient electromagnetic (EM) attenuation with environmental tolerance has become an urgent need. In this work, coral‐like CoNi@Void@C microparticle (MP)

Exceptional Electromagnetic Wave Absorption in High‐Entropy Carbides Enabled by Lattice Distortion Engineering

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The growing concern over human health issues, driven by increasingly severe electromagnetic pollution from 5G communication, has made the urgent development of high‐performance electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbing materials. Although carbide‐based materials are promising because of their conductive and polarization losses, existing single ...

Initial State Privacy of Nonlinear Systems on Riemannian Manifolds

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate initial state privacy protection for discrete‐time nonlinear closed systems. By capturing Riemannian geometric structures inherent in such privacy challenges, we refine the concept of differential privacy through the introduction of an initial state adjacency set based on Riemannian distances.
