A separate continuous function not somewhat continuous [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We construct a separately continuous function f:ℚ×ℚ→[0,1] and a dense subset D⊆ℚ×ℚ such that f[D] is not dense in f[ℚ×ℚ], in other words, f is separately continuous and not somewhat (feebly ...

Soft Complete Continuity and Soft Strong Continuity in Soft Topological Spaces

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
In this paper, we introduce soft complete continuity as a strong form of soft continuity and we introduce soft strong continuity as a strong form of soft complete continuity. Several characterizations, compositions, and restriction theorems are obtained.

On $\alpha$-continuous functions [PDF]

open access: yesČasopis pro pěstování matematiky, 1984
A subset B of a topological space (X,T) is called \(\alpha\)-open if \(B\subset int(c\ell(int B))\). A function from X into Y is called \(\alpha\)-continuous if the preimage of each open subset of Y is \(\alpha\)- open in X. This paper studies \(\alpha\)-continuity and especially its relationships to other variations of continuity.

Hiding Functions within Functions: Steganography by Implicit Neural Representations

open access: yesTsinghua Science and Technology
Deep steganography utilizes the powerful capabilities of deep neural networks to embed and extract messages, but its reliance on an additional message extractor limits its practical use due to the added suspicion it can raise from steganalyzers.

On $\alpha$-continuous functions [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica, 1992
Summary: Classes of functions continuous in various senses, in particular \(\theta\)-continuous, \(\alpha\)-continuous, feebly continuous a.o., and relations between these classes, are studied.

Bridging the Loneliness Gap: Depression, Connectivity, and Isolation in Pediatric Oncology Patients and Their Peers

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Loneliness is associated with adverse physical and mental health outcomes and remains understudied in children and adolescents undergoing cancer therapy. Pediatric oncology patients may be at increased risk due to medical isolation and disruption of social networks.

Between continuity and set connectedness

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2010
Two new weak variants of continuity called 'R-continuity'and 'F-continuity' are introduced. Their basic properties are studied and their place in the hierarchy of weak variants of continuity, that already exist in the literature, is elaborated. The class

Early Body Mass Index z‐Score Change and Resolution of Severe Malnutrition in Children With Sickle Cell Anemia in a Low‐Income Setting: A Prospective Single‐Arm Extension Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell anemia (SCA) in low‐income settings are at risk of severe malnutrition, but optimal nutritional management has not been established. We evaluated an intensified ready‐to‐use therapeutic food (RUTF) regimen in children with persistent severe malnutrition after initial treatment and assessed whether early ...

Characterizing the continuous functionals [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Logic, 1983
One of the objectives of mathematics is to construct suitable models for practical or theoretical phenomena and to explore the mathematical richness of such models. This enables other scientists to obtain a better understanding of such phenomena. As an example we will mention the real line and related structures.
