Exercise Capacity, Physical Activity, Fatigue, and Neurocognitive Function in Adult Survivors of Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Adult survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of reduced exercise capacity, decreased physical activity levels, persistent fatigue, and neurocognitive deficits. The aim was to investigate exercise capacity and physical activity levels of adult survivors of childhood ALL and their associations with ...

Topology on Soft Continuous Function Spaces

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2017
The concept of soft sets was initiated by Molodtsov. Then, some operations on soft sets were defined by Maji et al. Later on, the concept of soft topological space was introduced.

On i-Continuous Functions [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة التربية والعلم, 2019
In this paper we prove that the function  is i-open if it is injective, surjective and i-continuous from i-compact topological space  into -space. Further, we define and find the relationship among some i-separation axioms such as,  and.

R‐continuous functions [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1989
A strong form of continuity of functions between topological spaces is introduced and studied. It is shown that in many known results, especially closed graph theorems, functions under consideration are R‐continuous. Several results in the literature concerning strong continuity properties are generalized and/or improved.

“We Cannot Talk as a Family”: Complexities of Survivorship Communication Among Hispanic/Latino Young Adult Survivors of Childhood Cancer, Parents, and Clinicians

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Young adult childhood cancer survivors (YA‐CCS) have an increased risk of treatment‐related health complications throughout their lives. Lifelong survivorship care is recommended, yet many YA‐CCS experience disruptions in care during pediatric‐to‐adult transitions and do not receive recommended survivorship care.

A natural space of functions for the Ruelle operator theorem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We study a new space, $R(X)$, of real-valued continuous functions on the space $X$ of sequences of zeros and ones. We show exactly when the Ruelle operator theorem holds for such functions.

NONCOMMUTATIVE CONTINUOUS FUNCTIONS

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2003
Summary: By forming completions of families of noncommutative polynomials, we define a notion of noncommutative continuous function and locally bounded Borel function that give a noncommutative analogue of the functional calculus for elements of commutative \(C^*\)-algebras and von Neumann algebras.

Bone and Soft Tissue Neoplasms in Infants Versus Older Children: A Report From the Cancer in Young People in Canada Program

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Infant bone and soft tissue neoplasms present distinct clinical challenges and lack large‐scale data to inform treatment decisions. This study aims to characterize bone and soft tissue neoplasms in infants in Canada and to compare their outcomes with those of older pediatric patients.

A Temperature-Dependent SPICE Model of SiC Power Trench MOSFET Switching Behavior Considering Parasitic Parameters

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society
The application of silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs in the field of high voltage and high frequency brings the major challenge of high switching loss. To give full advantage of its performance in high-frequency applications and provide a simulation analysis
