Continuous-Flow Synthesis of Thioureas, Enabled by Aqueous Polysulfide Solution
We have developed the continuous-flow synthesis of thioureas in a multicomponent reaction starting from isocyanides, amidines, or amines and sulfur. The aqueous polysulfide solution enabled the application of sulfur under homogeneous and mild conditions.

In this work, we study the existence of one and exactly one solution x∈C[0,1]x\in C\left[0,1], for a delay quadratic integral equation of Volterra-Stieltjes type.

A Continuous Solution to the Norming Problem [PDF]
Conventional methods for producing test norms are often plagued with “jumps” or “gaps” (i.e., discontinuities) in norm tables and low confidence for assessing extreme scores. We propose a new approach for producing continuous test norms to address these problems that also has the added advantage of not requiring assumptions about the distribution of ...

Continuous dependence of a solution for fractional order Cauchy-type problem
In this paper, we consider the generalized Cauchy-type problem involving Hilfer–Hadamard-type fractional derivative for the nonlinear fractional differential equations to study the continuous dependence of a solution on the general order under the ...

Global Continuation of Homoclinic Solutions [PDF]
When extending bifurcation theory of dynamical systems to nonautonomous problems, it is a central observation that hyperbolic equilibria persist as bounded entire solutions under small temporally varying perturbations. In this paper, we abandon the smallness assumption and aim to investigate the global structure of the entity of all such bounded entire

Characterizations of Scaling Functions: Continuous Solutions [PDF]
A nonzero solution of a functional equation of the form \(f(t) = \sum \limits_{k = 0}^ Nc_ k f(2t-k)\) is called a scaling function. The present paper contains a sharp bound for the Hölder exponent of continuity of any continuous compactly supported scaling function in terms of the joint spectral radius of two matrices determined by the coefficients \(\
