Identified through the use of statistical design of experiments and metallographic investigation, this study exposes the stochastic origins of intergranular cracks in blown powder laser beam directed energy deposition additive manufacturing of pure molybdenum. It further demonstrates a successful crack mitigation approach with direct correlation to the

Dairy Heifer and Bermudagrass Pasture Responses to Rotational and Continuous Stocking
During 1990 and 1991, pastures of 'Callie' bermudagrass [Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.] located near Gainesville, FL (29 degrees 60' N latitude) were used to determine the effects of three grazing methods on performance of 250-kg Holstein heifers (Bos taurus) and forage nutritive value and botanical composition.

Continuous vs Rotational Stocking of Warm-Season Grasses at Three Stocking Rates
Pastures containing big and little bluestem, indiangrass, sideoats gramu, and switchgrass were stocked with 2.1, 2.7, and 3.3 yearling steers/acre from June to August. Continuous stocking and six-paddock rotations were used.
