Sedimentary Geology, 1993Abstract Multichannel seismic reflection profiles from the Fram Strait show many features that can be attributed to bottom-current influence on the sediments, by comparison with well-known contourite sequences elsewhere. North Atlantic contourite sand channels
Geological Society, London, Special Publications, 2007Abstract Two sand-rich channelized depositional systems, formed by strong contour currents, were studied west of the Faeroe Bank Channel and in the Gulf of Cadiz. Both are areas beyond the exit of constrictions where water overflows from the Norwegian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, respectively.
