Image manipulation detection using contourlet transform

2012 20th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2012
In this paper, we use contourlet transform for digital image manipulation detection. We extract contourlet and wavelet features and test these obtained features on a controlled image data set. Results show that contourlet based features gives better success rates than wavelet based ones.

Magnetic tile crack defect detection based on Contourlet transform and singular value decomposition

Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation, 2022
The magnetic tile is a permanent magnet made of ferrite material, which is shaped like a tile and mainly used in permanent magnet motor. The magnetic tile image taken by camera is with dark colour and uneven background brightness and texture, and the ...

A novel fusion method based on dynamic threshold neural P systems and nonsubsampled contourlet transform for multi-modality medical images

Signal Processing, 2021
Dynamic threshold neural P systems (DTNP systems) are a distributed parallel computing model with an interesting mechanism involving the cooperative spiking of neurons in a local region.

Total variation‐based ultrasound image despeckling using method noise thresholding in non‐subsampled contourlet transform

International journal of imaging systems and technology (Print), 2023
Medical diagnostics rely heavily on ultrasound imaging since it is non‐invasive, inexpensive, and able to provide images in real time. However, the inherent existence of a kind of signal‐dependent noise in these images diminishes the use of ultrasound ...

Multi-focus image fusion based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform and residual removal

Signal Processing, 2021
The goal of multi-focus image fusion is to integrate all focus pixels from the source images into the fused result and simultaneously avoid the introduction of defocused pixels.

Simultaneous Seismic Data Interpolation and Denoising Based on Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform Integrating With Two-Step Iterative Log Thresholding Algorithm

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2022
Seismic data interpolation and denoising play vital roles in obtaining complete and clean data in seismic data processing. Seismic data usually miss along various spatial axes and always mix with random noise.

Nonsubsampled contourlet transform-based conditional random field for SAR images segmentation

Signal Processing, 2020
In this paper, we propose a new texture-based conditional random field (CRF) for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image segmentation. In our proposed algorithm to overcome the limitations of the intensity-based features, feature extraction is performed in ...

Light Field Image Quality Assessment Using Contourlet Transform

IEEE international Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting, 2021
In this paper, a new full-reference image quality assessment (IQA) method for performing perceptual quality evaluation on the light field (LF) image is proposed, called the contourlet transform-based model (CTM).

Optical nonsubsampled contourlet transform

Applied Optics, 2016
The nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is a fully shift-invariant, multiscale, and multidirectional expansion implemented in optics using the Fourier transform of its filters. In this paper, we propose a novel optical NSCT filter design method and the corresponding post-processing method to avoid the use of holographic techniques.
