Asymptotic dynamics of AdS3 gravity with two asymptotic regions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The asymptotic dynamics of AdS3 gravity with two asymptotically anti-de Sitter regions is investigated, paying due attention to the zero modes, i.e., holonomies along non-contractible circles and their canonically conjugates.

Charged wormholes in higher dimensions

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
We construct regular solutions of Einstein's equations connecting two copies of the AdSd space. Our geometries approach AdSd−p×Sp in the interior, and topologically they have wormhole-like structures with non-contractible spheres Sp.

Forecasting the Dialysis Burden in Japan: Validation‐Based Projections of Prevalence and Incidence Through 2050

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Fixed point theorems in modular G-metric spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2021
We prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of some generalized contractible operators defined on modular G-metric spaces and also prove the modular G-continuity of such operators.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Foliations with non-compact leaves on surfaces

open access: yesPracì Mìžnarodnogo Geometričnogo Centru, 2020
The paper studies non-compact surfaces obtained by gluing strips R × (−1, 1) with at most countably many boundary intervals along some of these intervals.

Semidistrim Lattices

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2023
We introduce semidistrim lattices, a simultaneous generalization of semidistributive and trim lattices that preserves many of their common properties. We prove that the elements of a semidistrim lattice correspond to the independent sets in an associated

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
