Hicks’ contraction principle

2001
T. Hicks in [128] considered another notion of probabilistic contraction mapping than probabilistic q-contraction, which is incomparable with probabilistic q-contraction, [262]. In section 5.1 two types of generalizations of Hick’s notion of C-contraction is introduced and some fixed point theorems for these new classes of mappings are proved.

A stochastic contraction principle

Random Operators and Stochastic Equations, 2007
The authors provide conditions under which the equation \(\xi(T\omega)=f(\omega,\xi(\omega))\) (a.s.) has a solution in the class of measurable mappings \(\xi\colon \Omega\to X\). Equations of such type arise in connection with various questions of the theory of random dynamical systems (see \textit{L.

Relation-theoretic contraction principle

Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2015
Let \(X\) be a complete metric space, \({\mathcal R}\) be a binary relation over \(X\) and \(T:X\to X\) be a selfmap. The following is the main result of this paper. {Theorem.} Let us consider the conditions {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] \(X(T,{\mathcal R})\) is nonempty \item [(ii)] \({\mathcal R}\) is \(T\)-closed \item [(iii)] either ...

Article 76 PRINCIPLES OF AWARDING CONTRACTS

2021
Member States shall put in place national rules for the award of contracts subject to this Chapter in order to ensure contracting authorities comply with the principles of transparency and equal treatment of economic operators. Member States are free to determine the procedural rules applicable as long as such rules allow contracting authorities to ...
