Contrast-enhanced CT in acute pancreatitis.

The British Journal of Radiology, 1999
The EditorÐSir, Dynamic contrast-enhanced CT is often used for diagnosis and evaluation of acute pancreatitis. It is recommended that a large volume (150±180 ml) of radiographic contrast medium (RCM) administered at a rate of 2.5±3 ml s should be used in CT examination [1].

Postoperative CT contrast enhancement following lobectomy for epilepsy

Journal of Neurosurgery, 1990
✓ Contrast-enhanced computerized tomography (CT) is frequently utilized immediately after surgery to determine the presence of residual tumor, but the response of nontumor brain tissue is unclear. Consequently, the authors investigated the postoperative CT contrast enhancement in six patients undergoing lobectomy for epilepsy.

Contrast enhancement in abdominal CT: bolus vs. infusion

American Journal of Roentgenology, 1981
The accuracy of in vivo iodine estimations by CT in the aortic blood was determined in the dog. Iodine wash-out curves of five patients each receiving either a bolus of 100 ml diatrizoate 60% or a 10 min infusion of 300 ml diatrizoate 30% and 138 nonenhanced abdominal CT scans with various lesions in 104 patients were analyzed.

Sepsis patients' renal manifestation on contrast-enhanced CT

Clinical Radiology, 2016
To evaluate renal volume and attenuation changes in patients with sepsis on contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) with respect to the severity of sepsis.Forty-four patients with sepsis who underwent CT before and after the onset of sepsis were retrospectively analysed.

Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced CT Studies

Investigative Radiology, 2011
To establish the essential basis for balancing the dose versus noise trade-off in dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) CT by means of a phantom study.Measurements were performed at a 64-section dual-source system, using the default protocols for DCE imaging (40 scans) of the trunk (current-time product per scan, 100 mAs; voltage, 120 kVp; pixel size, 0.9 ...
