Contrast‐enhanced endoscopic ultrasound [PDF]
Compared to other imaging modalities, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has limitations in terms of image enhancement. However, with the availability of contrast agents in ultrasonography, EUS has evolved. Contrast‐enhanced Doppler EUS (CD‐EUS) enhances Doppler signals from vessels and is useful for characterizing lesions detected by EUS.

Clinical utility of combined contrast-enhanced ultrasound and intracavitary contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the percutaneous treatment of pyogenic liver abscess [PDF]
Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the utility of the combined use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and intracavitary CEUS (IC-CEUS) with diluted SonoVue in the management of percutaneous treatment for pyogenic liver abscess (PLA).

The recent decade has witnessed the great improvement of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and its extensive use in clinical practice, which is undoubtedly the major breakthrough in the field of diagnostic ultrasound in recent years. The concept of CEUS can be looked back to 60s in the last century, whereas only in 2000s CEUS regained increasing ...

Evaluation of renal perfusion in hyperthyroid cats before and after radioiodine treatment [PDF]
Background: Hyperthyroidism and chronic kidney disease (CKD) are common in elderly cats. Consequently, both diseases often occur concurrently. Furthermore, renal function is affected by thyroid status. Because changes in renal perfusion play an important
