Contrast enhanced photolithography

IEEE Electron Device Letters, 1983
This paper introduces a new method, contrast enhancement, which improves the imaging properties of conventional photoresist through the use of a photobleachable layer applied to the resist surface. Contrast enhancement allows high contrast photopatterns to be formed even when low contrast illumination is used.

Contrast Enhanced Investigations

2015
Sensitivity of mammography is limited especially in dense breasts [1]. Additional imaging modalities have been developed to compensate for some of the technical limitations of conventional mammography, such as lack of contrast and superimposing tissue.

Local contrast enhancement

SPIE Proceedings, 2007
We introduce a novel algorithm for local contrast enhancement. The algorithm exploits a background image which is estimated with an edge-preserving filter. The background image controls a gain which enhances important details hidden in underexposed regions of the input image.

Absolute Contrast Enhancement

Applied Optics, 1965
The basic idea of photographic masking is discussed, and two new methods for producing such masks are described. The conditions necessary to justify application of modulation transfer theory to the process are specified, and the theory is applied to demonstrate that it is possible to obtain a modulation transfer function greater than unity for a band ...

Contrast‐enhanced MR angiography

Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 1993
AbstractMagnetic resonance (MR) angiography, although still in its infancy, is recognized as a valuable diagnostic tool. Investigation of the utility of contrast media as applied to MR angiography is, to no surprise, preliminary. In restricted instances, with present techniques, contrast media‐enhanced MR angiography can provide additional valuable ...

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound fundamentals: the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of contrast. Basics of contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging

Radiología (English Edition)
Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a medical imaging technique that offers multiple advantages over other modalities such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These advantages include portability, no ionising radiation and no renal toxicity, with the great advantage of real-time imaging.

Color Contrast Enhancement

2016
In this chapter, we present the basic concepts of color contrast enhancement and focus on the use of fuzzy logic as a valid tool to enhance color images. In particular, we show how to define a fuzzy rule-based system for color image enhancement. An application to real-world color images is presented.

Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound

2008
The clinical application of contrast-enhanced two-dimensional echocardiography was initially introduced in 1968 and demonstrated significant improvement in visualization compared to non-contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Its use has expanded to multiple vascular territories including the thoracic and abdominal aorta, carotid artery, lower extremity arteries,

Contrast Enhancement at CT

2017
Contrast-enhanced CT studies are highly diagnostic and involve little physiological stress. To obtain the best results, protocols for contrast enhancement must take into consideration the patient factors, CM factors, and scan factors for contrast enhancement.

Reversible Contrast Enhancement

2016
This paper proposes a novel idea of reversible contrast enhancement (RCE) for digital images. Different from the traditional methods, we aim to embed the reversible feature into image contrast enhancement, making sure that the processed image can be losslessly turned back to the original.
