On the controllability of a nonlinear control system
AbstractThis paper considers the problem of controllability of a class of nonlinear systems. Sufficient conditions are given for a nonlinear system to be locally controllable and globally completely controllable. In the case of a linear time-invariant system, these conditions are also necessary.

Most MmpLs transport lipids and glycolipids of the complex mycomembrane of mycobacteria. This study shows that MmpL10 from Mycobacterium smegmatis, the transporter of the trehalose polyphosphate precursor, harbors a coiled‐coil‐like extension. Biochemical and electron microscopy studies demonstrate that the coiled‐coil enables MmpL10 to trimerize.

Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Disruption of SETD3‐mediated histidine‐73 methylation by the BWCFF‐associated β‐actin G74S mutation
The β‐actin G74S mutation causes altered interaction of actin with SETD3, reducing histidine‐73 methylation efficiency and forming two distinct actin variants. The variable ratio of these variants across cell types and developmental stages contributes to tissue‐specific phenotypical changes. This imbalance may impair actin dynamics and mechanosensitive

Exact null-controllability of interconnected abstract evolution systems by scalar force motion [PDF]
The paper deals with exact null-controllability problem for a linear control system consisting of two serially connected abstract control systems. Controllability conditions are obtained. Applications to the exact null-controllability for interconnected control system of heat and wave equations are considered.
