The wave functions in the presence of constraints - Persistent Current in Coupled Rings
We present a new method for computing the wave function in the presence of constraints. As an explicit example we compute the wave function for the many electrons problem in coupled metallic rings in the presence of external magnetic fluxes.

EMT‐associated bias in the Parsortix® system observed with pancreatic cancer cell lines
The Parsortix® system was tested for CTC enrichment using pancreatic cancer cell lines with different EMT phenotypes. Spike‐in experiments showed lower recovery of mesenchymal‐like cells. This was confirmed with an EMT‐inducible breast cancer cell line.

Line spread instrumentation for propagation measurements [PDF]
A line spread device capable of yielding direct measure of a laser beam's line spread function (LSF) was developed and employed in propagation tests conducted in a wind tunnel to examine optimal acoustical suppression techniques for laser cavities ...

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Understanding and measuring mechanical signals in the tumor stroma
This review discusses cancer‐associated fibroblast subtypes and their functions, particularly in relation to extracellular matrix production, as well as the development of 3D models to study tumor stroma mechanics in vitro. Several quantitative techniques to measure tissue mechanical properties are also described, to emphasize the diagnostic and ...

Setting process control chart limits for rounded-off measurements
Measurements can often be imprecise and subjected to rounding-off. Typically, this rounding-off is ignored and assumed to have little to no effect. However, when the measuring scale step is not negligible, it may affect statistical control tools such as ...
