Design Concept for a Failover Mechanism in Distributed SDN Controllers [PDF]
Software defined networking allows the separation of the control plane and data plane in networking. It provides scalability, programmability, and centralized control. It will use these traits to reach ubiquitous connectivity.

Lyot-based Ultra-Fine Pointing Control System for Phase Mask Coronagraphs
High performance coronagraphic imaging at small inner working angle requires efficient control of low order aberrations. The absence of accurate pointing control at small separation not only degrades coronagraph starlight rejection but also increases the

Treatment Decision‐Making Roles and Preferences Among Adolescents and Young Adults With Cancer
ABSTRACT Background Decision‐making (DM) dynamics between adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer, parents, and oncologists remain underexplored in diverse populations. We examined cancer treatment DM preferences among an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse group of AYAs and their parents.

Controlling Curvature in Minkowski Planes
The following variational problem was solved by \textit{H. H. Johnson} [Proc. Am. Math Soc. 44, 432-435 (1974; Zbl 0295.53001)]: To find, in the Euclidean plane, the curve of minimal length among all curves that join two given points with given tangents at these points and whose curvature is everywhere bounded above by a given constant. Here the author

Achieving control of in-plane elastic waves
We derive the elastic properties of a cylindrical cloak for in-plane coupled shear and pressure waves. The cloak is characterized by a rank 4 elasticity tensor with 16 spatially varying entries which are deduced from a geometric transform.

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

Consistent SDNs through Network State Fuzzing
The conventional wisdom is that a software-defined network (SDN) operates under the premise that the logically centralized control plane has an accurate representation of the actual data plane state.

Rapid Response to Trametinib Combined With Chemotherapy for Infant BRAF‐Fused Chiasmatic Glioma
ABSTRACT Infants, less than 1 year, with chiasmatic gliomas (ICG) present a major therapeutic challenge due to large tumor size, decreased vision, rapid progression, and poor response to vincristine/carboplatin chemotherapy. The majority have a BRAF fusion, which may respond to downstream MEK inhibitors but response time is slow. There are no safety or

Optimizing UE Power Efficiency: AI/ML Approach for Upgrade Time Determination
The transition of Control Plane (CP) block functions into software entities, as proposed by 3GPP, necessitates periodic downtime for maintenance activities such as software upgrades or failures.

Evaluation of Predictive Current Control Techniques for PM BLDC Motor in Stationary Plane
In general, PM BLDC motors are injected with square wave phase currents through PI-PWM control in a-b-c reference plane to ensure maximum torque-per-ampere.
