Extremum Seeking for Stabilization of Systems Not Affine in Control [PDF]
In [22] a form of extremum seeking for control (ESC) was developed for the stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems. In ESC the extremum seeker itself controls the systems through feedback rather than fine tuning a controller. The ESC results, and other related results, apply only to systems affine in control.

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

Advancements in control systems [PDF]
Control systems are mechanical and/or electronic apparatus that controls other apparatus or systems by way of open or closed control loops. Usually, control systems are automatized. These control systems are one of the major parts in not only in the industry but also in automation.

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...

Controllability of impulse controlled systems of heat equations coupled by constant matrices [PDF]
This paper studies the approximate and null controllability for impulse controlled systems of heat equations coupled by a pair (A,B) of constant matrices. We present a necessary and sufficient condition for the approximate controllability, which is exactly Kalman's controllability rank condition of (A,B).

The LEXOVE prospective study evaluated plasma cell‐free extracellular vesicle (cfEV) dynamics using Bradford assay and dynamic light scattering in metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer patients undergoing first‐line treatments, correlating a ∆cfEV < 20% with improved median progression‐free survival in responders versus non‐responders.

On Consensus of Multiple High-Order Uncertain Systems Based on Distributed Backstepping Framework
This paper focuses on the consensus problem of multiple high-order systems with uncertainties. Since it is difficult to use matrix theory approaches to design consensus controllers for a class of multiple high-order uncertain nonlinear systems, in this ...
