Schwarz alternating algorithms for a convection–diffusion problem

The author develops an upwind difference scheme for a convection diffusion problem using piecewise equidistant meshes which exhibit uniform convergence in the perturbation parameter. An estimation of convergence and a decomposition algorithm on overlapping subdomains are discussed and developed. A number of numerical experiments is also presented.
