Morphogenic Growth 3D Printing
I additive manufacturing process exploits the spatial propagation of a polymerization reaction front to produce 3D polymer parts 10× faster and 1000× more energy efficient than the fastest stereolithography. In contrast with existing 3D printing, this morphogenic process is inspired by biological “growth and form” due to the self‐directed propagation ...

Pushing Radiative Cooling Technology to Real Applications
Radiative cooling controls surface optical properties for solar and thermal radiation, offering solutions for global warming and energy savings. Despite significant advances, key challenges remain: optimizing optical efficiency, maintaining aesthetics, preventing overcooling, enhancing durability, and enabling scalable production.

Conductive Polymer Coatings Control Reaction Selectivity in All‐Iron Redox Flow Batteries
Aqueous redox flow batteries are limited by the competing hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) at their negative electrodes. In this work, conductive polymers are conformally coated on porous carbonaceous electrodes to improve the reaction selectivity of hybrid all‐iron redox flow batteries.

Convection in Rotating Spherical Fluid Shells [PDF]
The chapter begins with a description of the annulus model of rotationg convection. The basic equations for the spherical problem are then introduced and the onset of columnar convection in spherical shells is discussed. The onset of inertial mode convection is described which prevails at very low Prandtl numbers.

Ultrafast Laser Synthesis of Zeolites
The study presents a novel ultrafast laser‐driven synthesis technique for zeolites directly in liquid. Laser pulses create a microscopic reactor that controls reaction kinetics at femto‐ and picosecond timescales. Nonlinear light‐matter interactions drive nucleation and growth, allowing the process to be paused at any stage of self‐assembly.

Thermal analysis of both ventilated and full disc brake rotors with frictional heat generation
In automotive engineering, the safety aspect has been considered as a number one priority in development of a new vehicle. Each single system has been studied and developed in order to meet safety requirements. Instead of having air bags, good suspension

Surface pattern determined by vertical convection on Rayleigh-Taylor instability [PDF]
Relationship between a surface pattern and vertical convections is studied in a condition of Rayleigh-Taylor instability. The vertical convections change with the case configuration and the aspect ratio r / h of the case, where r and h show radius of case and height of the lighter solution.

Convection-Diffusion-Reaction equation with similarity solutions [PDF]
We consider similarity solutions of the generalized convection-diffusion-reaction equation with both space- and time-dependent convection, diffusion and reaction terms. By introducing the similarity variable, the reaction-diffusion equation is reduced to an ordinary differential equation. Matching the resulting ordinary differential equation with known

Numerical simulations of rotating sunspots [PDF]
A numerical model of idealized, axisymmetric, rotating sunspots is presented. The model contains a compressible plasma described by the nonlinear MHD equations, with density and temperature gradients simulating the upper layer of the sun’s convection ...

Double-diffusive convection in a rotating cylindrical annulus with conical caps
Double-diffusive convection driven by both thermal and compositional buoyancy in a rotating cylindrical annulus with conical caps is considered with the aim to establish whether a small fraction of compositional buoyancy added to the thermal buoyancy (or
