By leveraging the materials' compatibility, optimized matching relationships are established to enhance the performance of segmented thermoelectric devices. To validate this approach, a segmented thermoelectric generator is fabricated incorporating n‐type Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 and p‐type Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3‐GeTe.

Convective Heat and Mass Transfer
2009This chapter on convective heat and mass transfer starts out from Prandtl’s original chapter Heat Transfer in Flowing Liquids. We will treat free convection flows, caused by the density changes in the fluid due to temperature and concentration gradients. These cause a lift in the gravitational field, which in turn causes convection flows.
