Gravity-wave momentum fluxes induced by multiple convective cells
Convectively forced gravity waves (CGWs) play important roles in the atmosphere. CGW drag parameterizations for use in large-scale models typically represent subgrid-scale convection as a single convective source. This study uses an analytic framework to

Surrogate‐Optimized Flow‐Guided Miniature Condenser for Rapid Exhaled Glucose Detection
A surrogate‐optimized miniature condenser guides humid exhaled flow toward cold surfaces to accelerate exhaled breath condensate collection. By improving vapor access within a compact footprint, the design increases sample yield. This enables post‐collection enrichment and rapid colorimetric glucose detection from dilute exhaled biomarkers within a 5 ...

Optically Active Birefringent Polymer–Lipid Hybrid Microparticles With Dual‐Stimuli Responsiveness
The present study reports on geometrically tunable, magnetic and NIR‐stimuli‐responsive anisotropic microparticles that exhibit intrinsic birefringence due to their lamellar crystalline architecture, enabling label‐free detection under a polarized light.

The Role of Cold Pools in Modulating Convective Organization During the MJO
In this study, we investigate the role of cold pools in modulating convective organization throughout the Madden‐Julian Oscillation (MJO) life cycle using a modeling approach that combines Eulerian and Lagrangian techniques.

Observing convective activities in complex convective organizations and their contributions to precipitation and anvil cloud amounts [PDF]
The convective processes of precipitation and the production of anvil clouds determine the Earth's water and radiative budgets. However, convection could have very complicated convective organizations and behaviors in the tropics.

This study presents a human Bone (and Bone Marrow)‐on‐a‐Chip model based on native human bone scaffolds and autologous cells. Dynamic perfusion and sequential cell seeding replicate the physiological bone remodeling process in vitro, enabling the long‐term culture of functional, mature bone marrow immune subpopulations.

This work proposed a pollen‐enhanced bionic mechanoreceptor based on ionic convection. Leveraging the ion anchoring effect of the pollen particle, the output performance could be ∼12 times higher than the original state. By employing deep learning models as AI brains, the feasibility of a sensory‐augmented prosthesis consisting of a pollen‐enhanced ...
