In this investigation, finite element simulations were carried out using commercial explicit finite element program to determine the formability characteristics of laser welded sheets during hydroforming process. Steel blank sheets (St14) with different thickness were combined together to form three different tailor-welded models ((0.8-1), (0.8-1.2 ...

Analysis of Material Deformation and Wrinkling Failure in Conventional Metal Spinning Process [PDF]
Sheet metal spinning is one of the metal forming processes, where a flat metal blank is rotated at a high speed and formed into an axisymmetric part by a roller which gradually forces the blank onto a mandrel, bearing the final shape of the spun part ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Design Of Conventional Deep Drawing And Hydro Forming Deep Drawing By Finite Element Analysis [PDF]
Deep drawing and hydro forming deep drawing (HDD) are the two conventional methods for production of cylindrical cups. In this paper, various cylindrical work pieces have been produced with various dies radius with different fluids and FEA values of ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Analysis of tool-sided surface modifications for dry deep drawing of deep drawing steel and aluminum alloys in a model process [PDF]
The concept of sustainability motivates the development of energy-saving and low-polluting production processes. A sheet metal forming process without usage of lubricants is considered as one of these green production technologies.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.
