تبحث هذه الورقة في مختلف التقنيات الجديدة الملتزمة وتحسين أنشطة قطع الأشجار المنسوبة إلى ممارسة "Logfisher" (LP) بدلاً من الممارسة التقليدية (CP). تظهر نتيجة تحليل التكلفة أن التكلفة التي تشكلها تحت LP أعلى مما هي عليه تحت CP. ارتفع المتوسط التراكمي للتكلفة الإجمالية للهكتار بنسبة 46.86 ٪ ليصل إلى 13،576 رينغيت ماليزي/هكتار.
