Evaluation of a De‐Escalated Post‐Operative Cochlear Implant Programming Protocol

This retrospective study found that reducing post‐cochlear implant programming to four visits in the first year is feasible, with no negative impact on available speech outcomes. Among 201 patients, over half adhered to the streamlined schedule, with compliance improving over time.

Long‐Term Cost Utility Analysis of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery: Analysis of 5‐Year Outcomes

Characterizing Secondary Velopharyngeal Surgery in Children With Cleft Palate at an Academic Center

In this retrospective study of children undergoing primary palatoplasty at a single academic institution, 10.8% required secondary surgery for velopharyngeal insufficiency. Multivariate analysis demonstrated that private insurance was associated with decreased odds of secondary surgery, while Asian race was associated with increased odds.
