Bias Reduction and Filter Convergence for Long Range Stereo
. We are concerned here with improving long range stereo by filtering image sequences. Traditionally, measurement errors from stereo camera systems have been approximated as 3-D Gaussians, where the mean is derived by triangulation and the covariance by ...

Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

Adolescents' understanding of limits and infinity [PDF]
AIM To investigate mathematically able adolescents' conceptions of the basic notions behind the Calculus: infinity (including the infinitely large, the infinitely small and infinite aggregates); limits (of sequences, series and functions); and real ...

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

Sample autocorrelation learning in a capital market model [PDF]
Adaptive agent models are supposed to result in the same limit behavior as models with perfectly rational agents. In this article we show that this claim cannot by accepted in general, even in a simple capital market model, where the agents apply sample ...

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Ultra‐Confinement of Polaritons in Single Atomic Layer Ag Photonic Quantum Dots
Strong confinement of surface phonon polaritons of silicon carbide was achieved in photonic quantum dots fabricated from van der Waals heterostructure of epitaxial graphene over single‐atomic layer silver. Scattering‐type scanning near‐field optical microscopy combined with an analytical approach, developed to reveal local propagation constants with ...

Convergences and divergences in mortality [PDF]
Abdel Omran's 1971 theory of "Epidemiologic Transition" was the first attempt to account for the extraordinary advances in health care made in industrialized countries since the 18th century.
