Convergence of Spherical Averages for Actions of Free Groups [PDF]
Convergence of non-uniform spherical averages is obtained for measure-preserving actions of free groups. This result generalizes theorems of Grigorichuk, Nevo and Stein [in particular, a simpler proof of the Nevo-Stein theorem about uniform spherical averages is obtained.] The proof uses the Markov operator approach, first proposed by R.I.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Convergence of the Free Energy for Spherical Spin Glasses
We prove that the free energy of any spherical mixed $p$-spin model converges as the dimension $N$ tends to infinity. While the convergence is a consequence of the Parisi formula, the proof we give is independent of the formula and uses the well-known Guerra-Toninelli interpolation method.

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

The Convergence of Gallego’s Iterative Method for Distribution-Free Inventory Models
For inventory models with unknown distribution demand, during shortages, researchers used the first and the second moments to derive an upper bound for the worst case, that is the min-max distribution-free procedure for inventory models.

QED Thermodynamics at Intermediate Coupling
We discuss reorganizing finite temperature perturbation theory using hard-thermal-loop (HTL) perturbation theory in order to improve the convergence of successive perturbative approximations to the free energy of a gauge theory.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

The computational modeling of peptide inhibitors to target protein-protein binding interfaces is growing in interest as these are often too large, too shallow, and too feature-less for conventional small molecule compounds.

This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of ELN2017 in predicting survival outcomes and to assess the impact of clinical and molecular factors such as age, FLT3 and NPM1 mutations, and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT).

Local convergence for composite Chebyshev-type methods
We replace Chebyshev's method for solving equations requiring the second derivative by a Chebyshev-type second derivative free method. The local convergence analysis of the new method is provided using hypotheses only on the first derivative in contrast ...
